An early work in the Residual Ground series. A tree form holds the vertical plane in teal and yellow — present but already losing definition, the boundary between form and atmosphere beginning to dissolve. Beneath the painted surface, traces of newsprint are embedded within the ground layers, their language absorbed almost entirely into the work above. The system is intact but the erosion has begun.
