An earlier work in an ongoing investigation into trace, residue and the slow erosion of form. A field of ochre and yellow occupies the dominant plane — warm, expansive, the ground still holding its presence. Above it, a blue horizon carries the shadow of a tree against an ecru sky: the form already receding, its substance giving way to atmosphere. The warmth is not decorative — it is what remains when structure begins to dissolve.
