Keep Me In Mind

Long summer days extend the quality of light. From fresh, bright dawns, through the glaring intensity of the midday sun and on to the soft  retreating rays of early evening. While this collection is about taking a perspective from above the trees, it is also about being amid them, to experience the contrast of that coolness of shade.

This series of abstract landscape paintings plays with value and colour. The pieces have been created intuitively, each emerging through a process that includes many separate layers, which feature a number of different media. This has given the works a depth and individuality that is truly unique. They are presented in white, wooden floater frames.
