The Long Grass

The landscape is rich and green. Tall blades of grass twist and bend in the breeze. New colours, new scents, a flat open space. Although the collection takes a perspective from above the trees in abstract form, this piece comes into land among the long grass.

These paintings play with value and colour, and have been created intuitively, each emerging through a process that includes many separate layers, which feature a number of different media. This has given the works a depth and individuality that is truly unique. They are presented in white, wooden floater frames.
