This is one of a series of works on paper exploring light fragmented through the natural shapes of trees in woods. These pieces are all about the abstract forms created by the tangle of branches, trunks and undergrowth – not to mention the interplay of shadows. A number of different media have been used, including painted collage paper, oil pastel and aquarelle pencil
